Vintage Card Tutorial...Merry Christmas!

{Another fantastic Card Tutorial by
Angelica Turner}

I have another project using a vintage inspired image from
Stampin' D'Amour, but instead of just photos I decided to put together a quick tutorial for it. For some reason every time I look at this image it makes me think of shopping ;o)

I used some Basic Grey patterned paper and a Prima journaling card,
they are perfect for cardmaking.

The finished card size is 5" x 6 1/2".

Trim patterned paper to fit card base.

Mat Prima card with brown cardstock, I like to use the Stampin' UP Perfect Layers ruler, it always gives me perfect mats. For this mat I used the 1/16" edge.

Ink edges of image with distress ink and blending tool.

Adhere a piece of seam binding to image.

Stamp the image on cream cardstock with Jumbo Java ink.

Diecut using the Spellbinders Labels Four die (second from largest).

Making sure not to remove die from paper, emboss your die cut using an embossing mat.

Before you remove the die from the the image, ink with distress ink and blending tool.

Remove die to reveal a perfectly inked image with a clean border.

Diecut and emboss a piece of brown cardstock with the largest die from Labels Four set.

Adhere together with pop dots.

Add the 3D sticker sentiment and glue a seam binding bow with Fabri-Tac.

For the final touch add some vintage photo distress stickles to the image.

Thanks for viewing!

Merry Christmas!!!
