Mixed Media ARt Event

Looks more like I'm staying at the hotel than selling goods at a show...

Did I bring enough merchandise? How will I make all of this fit onto three 8-foot tables?

It's amazing how much stuff those old suitcases will hold and this is a view of just one table!

Here is Shirley of the Artsy Fartsy Fairy.
Shirley always makes these amazing calenders and she also teaches classes at Mystic Paper.

It's starting to get a little busy! Lots of wonderful bargains and treasures to find!

ART UNRAVELED - Shopping Extravaganza Aug 6, 2011

This week, I have been getting items ready for the Shopping Extravaganza event at Art Unraveled this Saturday, Aug. 6th. I can't believe that a whole year has passed since I did the show last year. It was so much fun being a Vendor and a Shopper there.

Here are my two vendor tables from last year.
This year I have three tables and am in the MAIN Ballroom...I am bringing LOTS of stuff!

I will also have Stampin' D' Amour unmounted stamps available for very CHEAP,
to make way for newer images later this year.
Most of them are of Vintage Fashion ladies.

Art Unraveled has mixed media workshops all week long.

The Shopping Extravaganza is Saturday, 8/6: 10am-4pm

This past Saturday, I was a Vendor at a terrific annual Mixed Media Show called, Art Unraveled. I have attended as a shopper in the past, but this is the 1st year I signed on as a Vendor. It was so much fun!!! I will be signing up again next year!

There was the large Ballroom and the smaller room,
which is where my booth was located. There were over 50+ Vendors offering OOAK art, supplies, ephemera, art rubber stamps,
vintage anything, assemblage & collage items, etc, etc...

Art Unraveled is held every year in the Phoenix, AZ area and is usually scheduled in early August. Art Unraveled is fantastic! Lots of wonderful mixed media and altered art treasures to be found!

Art Unraveled is annual, every year in August (super HOT in Phoenix!)...but, it's so much fun and the people are fantastic and friendly. It's a very well-organized event too.

aRT UNraVeLeD...MiXeD MeDia SHoW AZ

Yesterday, I went to a really cool Mixed Media Show called Art Unraveled (Phoenix, AZ), it features weekend long Art retreats with well-known Mixed Media & Altered Art Artists...then a fabulous shopping day with about 58 Artists and Vendors...look how busy it was, wow!

Ran into so many crafty ladies I knew...gosh, you never realize HOW many people you know, until you run into them at one place.

I don't have many close-up photos of tables, mostly due to respect to the Artists work (usually no photos allowed)...but you can see HOW busy it was.

Did I spend a lot of money? Of course! How could I resist wonderful Artsy Rubber Stamps, found objects/findings, and other Vintage goodies! Art Unraveled is not to be missed! You never know what you might find.
