Happy Birthday to You Card...

I have a card I made with a couple of stamps from Stampin' D'Amour. I used the birthday sentiment from the "Fabulous Birthday" clear stamp set and the vintage lady image is called "Fifi LaMarche". For the layout inspiration I used sketch #185 from Mojo Monday, loved it as soon as I saw it!!!

Used several different patterned paper designs and some light green cardstock, I inked every layer with antique linen distress ink. For the bow I used some seam binding I dyed a while back.

For the circles I used Spellbinders dies and slightly inked the edges with antique linen distress ink to give them a bit more of a vintage feel. I wanted a little sparkle on the flower and mini rose so I applied some iridescent medium, this is the first time I used this product, and wow does it add sparkle or what!!

This background patterned paper was just a cream colored, distressed paper with a hint of a grid on it, I stamped the vintage lady image with celadon pigment ink all over the paper, I then stamped the birthday sentiment with jet black archival ink, distressed the edges with distress ink and added some of the same color to several areas on the paper.

I punched a border from cardstock with the apron lace border punch and added some tiny coral adhesive pearls from Want2Scrap, also added some orange stickles to the big scalloped edge I cut from Graphic 45 patterned paper. Well, I hope you have enjoyed my card, have a great and creative day, and thank you for stopping by.
